Train various autopilots from zero. Then apply critical thinking to task these models via prompt engineering on ChatGPT. This program presents you with a tour of the modern AI landscape, from Deep Learning to Generative AI,  while demonstrating fundamental ML principles in action. No coding or math background required.

When building DL models from ground up

  • Unlike most AI applications where the data collection process is painstakingly slow, tedious, and error-prone, a basic self-driving car requires little more than the raw frames captured from a front-facing camera while driving.

  • Since AI development here revolves around data collection, learners spend bulk of this session driving the RC car around the track to experiment with different strategies that produce the best autopilot outcomes … enjoy!

When working with GenAI foundation models

  • The pseudo-general intelligence capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs) elevate the autopilot (via prompt engineering) from fixed-function autonomy to a conversationally taskable service robot — think J.A.R.V.I.S or WALL-E
